     George Puddington was born at Tiverton, Devonshire, England. He Came to New England with brother, Robert, some years before 1640; first records are 1640 when he was alderman and deputy to the provincial court. He was an inn keeper. Died between 3 Jul 1647 and 5 Jun 1649 and his will was dated 25 Jun 1647. He had two sons and three daughters. Reference: 1930. He married Mary Pooke on 5 February 1630 at St.Peter's, Devon., England.² George Puddington died in 1648 at York, ME.³ His estate was probated on 18 June 1666 at York, ME.⁴

     Mary Pooke was born at Tiverton?, Devonshire, England. She died; Y Y. She She married (2nd) Major John Davis about 1659. She lived after he died in 1691 and probably died before 1696 when George Puddington's will came to light. The will seems to have been hidden as a child, Sarah,(who may have been fathered by a Parson Burdett) was left out of the will. Her married name was Puddington. Reference: 1931. She married George Puddington, son of Robert Puddington, on 5 February 1630 at St.Peter's, Devon., England.¹

     Reference: 1933. Donald Leigh Fowler was born in June 1887. He married Ethel Laura McKusick, daughter of Marshall Noah McKusick and Lucy Jane Bassford, on 6 November 1907 at Calais, ME.² Donald Leigh Fowler died on 19 April 1967 at Fall River, MA, at age 79.

     Carmen Fowler She received a B.A. in Education from Rhode Island College in 1934 and was a junior high school teacher. Reference: 1934. Her married name was Smith. She was born on 4 July 1912 at Auburn, ME. She married Hedley Smith, son of Ernest Smith and Alice Collins, on 28 August 1937. Carmen Fowler died on 30 August 1995 at age 83.

     Reference: 1935. Hedley Smith was born on 11 January 1909 at Bradford, England. He married Carmen Fowler, daughter of Donald Leigh Fowler and Ethel Laura McKusick, on 28 August 1937. Hedley Smith died on 14 January 1994 at age 85.

He married Portia Smith, daughter of Hedley Smith and Carmen Fowler, on 20 October 1956 at Warwick, RI. Leslie Franklin Thompson died on 5 September 2015 at Wakefield, RI, at age 80.
