There is a possibility that he was descended from one the above named Joseph's brothers. His grandparents were Elijah and Lucy Chesley Drew. Like others who pioneered Parkman, Joseph and Charlotte had to clear the land and build their own dwelling and out buildings. The original buildings were destroyed by fire but Joseph replaced them with a fine house and other buildings. He was born on 18 December 1807 at Newfield, ME. He married Charlotte Agnes McKusick, daughter of Zebediah McKusick and Charlotte Agnes Tarbox, on 27 June 1833 at Limerick, ME.2 Joseph Drew died on 18 January 1880 at Parkman, ME, at age 72.1
